Built back in 1975 on 25 acres in Magnolia, the 6,200-square-foot Ashelynn Manor is a mansion northwest of Houston that has become a serene and beautiful full-service venue. The Great Room has 30-foot cathedral ceilings, 18-foot windows and antique wood paneling, all of which create a luxurious space for weddings or intimate gatherings for up to 50. The manor’s intimate Veranda and Lorino rooms serve as bridal dressing suites or private meeting spaces while a separate Groom’s Cottage is a three-bedroom house for groom preparation and other events. Ashelynn Manor’s “vintage” chapel, complete with hand-hewn wooden floors, is perfect for weddings with old country charm for up to 275 guests, and garden weddings and other outdoor events can be held at the 16-foot gazebo. Plus, the 5,000-square-foot Carriage House boasts wrought-iron crystal chandeliers, a Texas-size granite bar and a large dance floor.

Distinctive and chic, Briscoe Manor is just minutes southwest of Houston in beautiful Richmond. The adjacent Ranger’s Bar features a custom fireplace and leather seating for up to 50, and upstairs the Private Game Room hosts small events or serves as a groom’s ready room. Large rooms, high ceilings and a wraparound veranda with large front columns contribute to the elegance and charisma as do the sweeping views of the grounds. Decorated with lovely and tasteful antiques that add a touch of charm to an otherwise unsettled Texas frontier, the covered patio and porch recently have been glassed in and climate controlled for guests’ increased comfort. All functions here include event coordination and on-site support during the entire event.

The three first-floor ballrooms can fit a group of up to 1,100 when combined, and each space has adjustable lighting and easily accommodates entertainment and a stage.
