If you’re looking for a casual coffee-and-baked-goods breakfast place for a meeting, Heights Ashbury Coffeehouse might be the ideal spot. The coffeehouse brews locally roasted organic coffees and teas to accompany its delicious healthy food with vegetarian options. Closed only Monday and Tuesday, Heights Ashbury offers fresh baked goods daily starting at 8 a.m. with a full breakfast available on the weekends until 1 p.m. Rentals of the space for private events of all kinds are encouraged, and Heights Ashbury also offers catering.

Start the day off right with something beyond pancakes and donuts, and try the unique and delicious Southwestern TexMex cuisine at Irma’s Southwest Grill. Conveniently located near Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston, Irma’s offers a great atmosphere with gourmet coffee and assorted freshly prepared breakfast tacos for a tasty and hearty morning meal from 8–10 a.m. Irma’s also has a private dining area available for planned events, which Irma’s staff services with years of experience, knowledge and extensive resources to help make your corporate meeting or dining experience a success.

Quattro at the Four Seasons Houston is an inviting dining environment downtown. It offers breakfast on weekdays from 6:30–11:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7–11:30 a.m. with brunch on Sunday from 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m. Four private dining rooms—fully equipped for business meetings—are available for events and can accommodate up to 28. Tuscany offers an intimate space ideal for small events; the warm, sophisticated Il Rosso is suitable for larger gatherings; La Cucina’s glass wall offers a Chef’s Table experience with views of the kitchen to a small group; and The Cellar in the wine room features a corked floor and views of 1,250 wine bottles. Menus can be designed for an event, but a la carte, buffet and family-style service also are offered.

The charisma of Table 7 Bistro is its upscale casual atmosphere in downtown Houston at the Club Quarters Hotel. Table 7 starts serving generous, artistically presented cuisine Monday through Thursday at 6:30 a.m. and Friday through Sunday at 7 a.m. The warm, comfortable restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows seats up to 30 but can accommodate up to 100 with the banquet rooms in the hotel. The Club Quarters’ Executive Board Room offers comfortable seating for up to 12 while the Fannin room fits up to 80, and the Rusk room offers space for up to 30. Fannin and Rusk can be combined for larger groups.
