Snap 2 began in 1995 as an Event Management and Service Staff Training Company. The founder, Patsy Akers-Rhymes, a career food and beverage expert has over 30 years of extensive experience in the North American, European and Middle Eastern markets. She is also a member of the Guild of Sommeliers since 1981.
Snap 2 is the only center approved to offer the International NVQ qualification in the United States, specializing in hospitality staff. NVQ is the standard for training throughoutEurope.
In 2004, Patsy was elected president of the British American Business council, and in 2006 was selected for Mayor Bill White’s Committee for Houston International & Development and currently serving as the Committee Chairperson of Special Events.
