Mixers & Elixirs
For Immediate Release:
Scintillating Summer Soiree Series Returns June 18

This festive phenomenon is the perfect blend of dancing under the dinosaurs combined with the sultry sounds of some of Houston’s most popular bands, complimentary appetizers and a cash bar, every Friday night through Aug. 13. Guests are invited to see the mystifying exhibition Magic!, which will feature live magic performances in the exhibition throughout each Mixer, for just $5 on top of Mixers & Elixirs admission.

At 6 p.m., the soiree begins in the Audi Lounge with DJ Gracie Chavez creating some of the hottest party mixes on the turntables. At 7 p.m., the doors to the Hall of Paleontology open for live entertainment. Groove to the soulful sounds of Grady Gaines & The Texas Upsetters; dance through the 80’s with Molly and the Ringwalds; cha-cha to Latin music provided by Mango Punch and Grupo Ka-Che - or enjoy any of the other dance-able bands in this year’s outstanding lineup.
